We’re looking for a customer-focused structural engineer to help engineers maximize their success with ClearCalcs. This role isn’t just about answering questions—it’s about ensuring users activate, adopt, and see real-world value in our platform. You’ll engage with trial users, guide them toward success, and contribute to making ClearCalcs the go-to platform for engineering designs worldwide.
Your Impact:
As a Customer Success Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in helping engineers fully adopt and integrate ClearCalcs into their workflows. Your work will directly drive activation rates, retention, and overall user success.
You will:
- Help engineers across the US and globally succeed with ClearCalcs. Guide them in using our tools to solve real-world design challenges faster.
- Engage with trial users to ensure they quickly experience ClearCalcs’ value, reducing churn and increasing activation rates.
- Provide expert engineering support via email, live demos, and office hours, answering technical questions and guiding users on best practices.
- Create & improve learning resources—write help articles, record short tutorials, and develop worked examples to make onboarding easier.
- Work with AI-powered customer insights and tools to track where users struggle and proactively help them succeed.
- Gather customer feedback and work with product & engineering teams to improve the platform based on real user needs.
What you’ll bring:
We are looking for someone with:
- Structural Engineering Knowledge – Experience working with US engineering codes, standards, and design practices. You know how engineers use software like ClearCalcs in their workflow.
- Excellent English Communication Skills – You’ll be engaging with US-based customers daily, so fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Proactive, Problem-Solving Mindset – You don’t just wait for problems to arise - you help engineers get value before they struggle.
- Content Creation Skills – Ability to write technical help articles, create worked examples, and record short tutorials that make engineering calculations more accessible.
- Interest in AI & Data-Driven Support – You’re excited about how AI-powered recommendations, chat-based redesign tools, and customer analytics can improve user experiences.
- Bonus: LinkedIn Presence – If you enjoy sharing engineering insights and engaging with the community, that’s a plus!

- Full-time, based in Bogotá, Colombia. Our office is a 15 minute walk from the Calle 127 Transmilenio station.
- We are very flexible for short-term arrangements if you need to be away from Bogotá.
